Birthday Parties
We offer an exciting place to host a special birthday party at the Thunder Mountain Line while your group enjoys the nostalgia of the railroad history. We have unique party packages such as the Caboose Party Package and the On Board Package.
Each package is complete with a wonderful train tride along the beautiful Payetter River to Banks (May to September) or Montour (October - December). You can customize your birtday party with a bounce house, gem mining, party favors and meal options. Rates are for regular train rides and additional fees may apply for themed events.

CABOOSE PARTY PACKAGEWhat a unique opportunity for children to share in this adventure as you enjoy a beautiful train ride in this restored caboose. Our maximum capacity is 8 total riders and will include a Thunder Mountain Line staff member to accomodate your trip. Each train ride will be 3.5 hours to Banks (May to September) or 1.5 hours to Montour (October to December).

This year let the Thunder Mountain Line cater your next birthday party. You'll enjoy a beautiful train ride through the Payette River Canyon as well as a birthday cake plus party favors. A decorated reserved space will be held in the standard class car. Additional tickets can be purchased at a group rate. $250 for 2 Adults and up to 6 Children
